Choose a heat pump developed and manufactured in Sweden

Heat pumps

Our long history of developing highly efficient, sustainable heat pumps in Sweden forms the basis for our focus on air-to-water and water-to-water heat pumps (rock, soil and lakes) for water recirculation heating.

Heat pumps are an economical and environmentally friendly heating technology that use the heat the sun leaves behind in the air, soil or water.

Heat pumps are named for the way in which they collect and release energy. Water-to-water heat pumps are used to exploit geothermal heat from rocks, soil or lakes. Air-to-water heat pumps make use of the heat in outdoor air. All Euronom heat pumps are used to produce both domestic hot water and hot water for heating the house. Hot water is led through pipes from the system tank to provide heat for radiators and under floor heating, etc.

High COP value
Heat pumps generate heat from the temperature difference in its refrigerant which evaporates and condenses in a process that switches the refrigerant’s state from liquid to gas and then back to liquid again. The efficiency of heat pumps is measured in COP (coefficient of performance). The higher, the better. Cops 3 means that a heat pump produces three units of heat for every unit of electricity used. Euronom’s COP values are among the highest in the market.

Which heat pump should you choose?
The various types of heat pump all have different strengths and weaknesses and may be more or less suitable depending on your specific conditions and needs. Some people gain most from water-to-water for geothermal heating while others benefit most from an air-to-water heat pump. Many get the very best efficiency by using a flexible heating system with a system tank that can combine the heat pump. solar heating and a water jacket wood-burning stove. It’s always a good idea to talk to us before making your choice, so we can give you the best advice based on your needs.

Our various heat pumps and the different sizes available in each variant are listed below. Accessories are presented in the price list.
ExoAir

Stainless steel, high-efficiency air-to-water heat pumps to the highest standards.

Integrated intelligent control
In 2011, ExoAir became the best in class in the Swedish Energy Agency’s major test of air-to-water heat pumps. It has undergone further development since to become our most tried-and-tested, reliable heat pump. It has an integrated control system that allows you to dock it directly to your existing system tank. You can then use ExoAir to control system operation based on a set temperature, or a variable temperature for hot water as needed depending on the outdoor temperature. You can also control the system tank immersion heater from ExoAir.

Sustainable heating
Air-to-water heat pumps remain outdoors come rain or shine, year in year out. We put no faith in plastic or painted sheet metal to do such a tough job. It’s why all of our heat pump chassis are made from stainless steel sheet. It provides sustainable, eco-friendly heating.

Three sizes
How much output do you need? ExoAir is available in three sizes: 7.5 kW, 10.5 kW and 16 kW for operation down to -15°C and water temperatures up to 63°C.
Let us help you make the right choice.

Warranty and peace-of-mind insurance
ExoAir comes with a 3-year warranty and we also add insurance cover for any damage during the first 6 years into the bargain. You may then extend the policy on an annual basis until the heat pump is 14 years old.

ExoAir Polaris
Stainless steel, high-efficiency air-to-water heat pumps. Euronom developed ExoAir Polaris in collaboration with Lund University Faculty of Engineering back in 2006, and we were among the first to solve the problem of getting a heat pump to operate efficiently all the way down to -25°C. Since then, the new generations have been refined to create the reliable, quality product known as ExoAir Polaris. Manufactured in Sweden, it is especially well suited to colder regions where the temperature often drops to minus 25°C.

Integrated intelligent control
ExoAir Polaris has an integrated control system that allows you to dock it directly to your existing system tank. You can then use ExoAir Polaris to control system operation based on a set temperature, or a variable temperature for hot water as needed depending on the outdoor temperature. You can also control the system tank immersion heater from ExoAir Polaris.

Sustainable heating
Air/water heat pumps remain outdoors rain or shine, year in year out. It’s a tough assignment, especially in the cold regions Polaris is designed for. We put no faith in plastic or painted sheet metal for this job. It’s why all of our heat pump chassis are made from stainless steel sheet. It provides sustainable, eco-friendly heating.

Two sizes
How much output do you need? ExoAir Polaris is available in two sizes: 10 kW and 20 kW for operation down to -25 °C and water temperatures up to 60°C.

Exotic

Exotic is our stainless steel, stand-alone, high-performance water-to-water heat pump; it can be docked with an existing tank or a Euronom VPX system tank. Water-to-water heat pumps are intended for liquid-based systems that extract geothermal energy from rocks, soil or lakes.

Silent heating
Because a geothermal heat pump can be located indoors, it’s particularly important for it to have a low noise level in order not to be intrusive. Exotic has especially sewn compressor sound insulation, sound-absorbing asphalt mats and vibration dampers, which means it makes no more noise than a standard fridge.

Easy to place
The low construction height makes it suitable for location under e.g. a work bench or in cellars with limited headroom.

Integrated intelligent control
Exotic has an integrated control system that allows you to dock it directly to your existing system tank. You can then use Exotic to control system operation based on a set temperature, or a variable temperature for hot water as needed depending on the outdoor temperature.

Three sizes
How much output do you need? Exotic is available in three sizes: 8 kW, 12 kW and 17 kW. Geothermal heat pumps provide the same output regardless of outdoor temperature as the incoming fluid maintains roughly the same temperature all year round. Produces water at temperatures up to 63°C. Let us help you choose the right size.

Exotic Compact
Exotic Compact is our stainless steel, highly efficient water-to-water system comprising a heat pump and tank in a single compact unit. A mixing valve is used to control heat. It provides precise and even heat that minimizes the risk of knocking in your pipework.

Silent heating
Because a geothermal heat pump can be located indoors, it’s particularly important for it to have a low noise level in order not to be intrusive. Exotic Compact has separate compressor insulation that makes it extremely quiet.

Easy to place
The 600 mm module width makes it easy to fit in most places.

Produces large quantities of hot water on demand
Exotic Compact has variable flow control (VFC), which means hot water is not stored but is produced in large quantities only when it is needed. The need for an immersion heater is minimized.

Two sizes
How much output do you need? Exotic Compact is available in two sizes: 8 kW and 12 kW. Geothermal heat pumps provide the same output regardless of outdoor temperature as the incoming fluid maintains roughly the same temperature all year round. Produces water at temperatures up to 63°C.
